AC7QN's Tent Trailer Shack
The antenna consists of a SD-20 fiberglass pan fishing pole, extended straight up from the tent trailer. The metal roof of the tent trailer is part of the counterpoise system. |

AE7RW's VW Command Van
The ole 1992 VW transport van doubles as a ham shack as well as a bedroom... when the bands went dead.
This station worked 15, 20, 40, and 80 meter CW for 221 QSOs. |

AE7RW Van and Antenna Farm
One of the van's tires is supporting a gizmo that holds up the 30 foot long push-up mast. The mast was to support the center of the doublet antenna, but since the ropes were so high in the trees... the pole was not really needed. The antenna used was a 3 band fan dipole type of arrangement fed with TV twin lead. |
